Shanna is an industry expert in healthcare operations, with 15 years of experience working for start-ups, private practices, hospitals, and universities. She is an AAPC Certified Professional Biller™ with deep expertise in revenue cycle, practice management, and healthcare technology.

Previously, Shanna served as Director of Operations for a virtual wellness practice, where she led operations, revenue cycle strategy, payer contracting, and practice growth. Today, she partners with Allies, an early-stage maternal health startup, helping build the product foundation for a technology platform designed to improve access to maternal care. Her work bridges healthcare operations and product strategy, translating providers' real-world needs into scalable technology solutions.

Shanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The New School in New York and her Master of Science in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington. Her work is grounded in a simple belief: the best healthcare technology is built by deeply understanding the people who use it. She enjoys solving complex operational problems, improving healthcare systems, and designing platforms and services that make life easier for providers and patients alike.

Outside of work, Shanna enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and caring for her kitten, Belle.
